Rules Overview

If a player kills the prey, or causes its death indirectly, within the time limit, that player is the winner.

Detailed Rules

The prey is one of the participating players. The prey must register in advance. The prey has already been determined.

During the competition time, all compasses will always point to the prey.

If the prey dies due to other reasons during the competition time:

  • The prey will be teleported to a location approximately 100 blocks away from the recent death position. All items and experience of the prey will be cleared. The competition continues.

If no one kills the prey during the competition time:

  • The prey is the winner.

During the competition, all players except the prey will not drop equipment upon death. However, their experience points will be cleared.

  • For players without a bed or with a damaged bed, death will respawn the player at a random location within 5000 blocks from the 0 0 0 point.
  • For players with a bed, death will respawn the player at their own bed.

Before joining the competition, you can carry your own equipment and items. You can build traps in advance. You can explore the map in advance. You can prepare hunting routes and escape routes in advance.

Tips

Before participating in the competition, make sure you have the following items with you:

  • Compass (for locating prey)
  • Sword (or axe)
  • A full set of armor
  • Shield (for blocking arrows)
  • At least 64 food items (for restoring health)
  • Bow (or trident)
  • At least 5 beds (to avoid respawning too far from where you died)
  • At least 5 boats (for fast travel)
  • At least 128 arrows, especially tipped arrows
  • At least 64 torches
  • Water bucket, lava bucket
  • TNT
  • Chorus Fruit (for teleporting)
  • Ender Pearl (for teleporting)
  • Golden Apple (for increasing maximum health)
  • Obsidian (for traveling to and from the Nether)
  • At least 256 basic blocks, such as: dirt, wooden planks
  • Ender Chest (for storing and retrieving items)
  • Emerald (for trading with villagers)
